A full colour plastic card can offer unlimited opportunities in terms of design. The versatility of the process enables you to complement your existing sales literature by using similar colour images, thus ensuring continuity of design throughout.
It is also possible to incorporate photographs on your card, giving customers the best possible visual impression of your products or services.
The digital print process makes it possible to print individual details onto each card at very reasonable cost. Examples of individual details that can be printed onto the cards include customers or members names, reference numbers, company name and expiry dates.
Durability
Our full colour cards are plastic throughout. To ensure that every card is build to withstand the rigours of everyday life, we use the same print process that is used to produce credit cards. The inner core of every card we produce is digitally printed and then laminated with clear plastic to ensure maximum durability.
Proof cards
Before the whole order is produced you will be sent an actual plastic card with your design printed on it. This enables you to check and approve the card before the whole order is printed, ensuring you get exactly what you order. Proof cards are only included with digitally printed cards and do not apply to other print processes.
Size
Credit card size (86 × 54mm with round corners) is our most popular size as it is suitable for most applications.
We can also supply oversized cards that are 100 × 70mm or 120 × 80mm, both of which have rounded corners. They are suitable for information cards where there is too much text to fit on standard sized cards – health and safety info cards for example.
Thickness
Although credit card thickness (760 micron) is the most popular we also offer two other thicknesses: 680 micron and 420 micron. Our oversized cards are only available in 680 micron thickness.
Gloss or Matt Finish
With all our full colour cards you have the choice of gloss or matt finish, however, if your card has a black background we recommend a matt finish which is more scratch resistant, ensuring that your cards retain their appearance for longer.
